Question of the day

Neither. If it’s not already on my food when I cook it, I don’t add it when it’s done.
I’m not a big fan of either, but I guess salt wins over pepper. Like Sue, the only time I add it is when the cook way under-salted the dish.
SALT
OR really?
Usually only when cooking I season the food. If someone puts salt or pepper on something after it’s made, I feel like I kinda messed up when I was cooking. You shouldn’t have to add more salt or pepper to something after its cooked. Now if it’s a snack like celery I put salt on it. Even watermelon I sprinkle salt on it. YUM!
You haven’t met my mom. She does not believe in eating food before shaking salt over it for at least several seconds.
Salt but I have gotten very good about not using it that much anymore.
Both.I try to not use to much salt anymore while cooking.though some things you just have to.So I wait to taste and then salt.Thats prob backwards but for health reasons I don’t want all the salt.
I am the same way. I’d rather undersalt the food while cooking and then each can add according to their tastes. Much healthier. Same goes for pepper. Some like a kick, lick me, but others do not.
No! I wont lick you!Wait, are you salty?
Oy!! That is some bad grammar!! LOL!! Lick=LIKE!
LOL! LOL! LOL!
Pepper, never salt.
I’ve always been told to not add pepper until you’re done cooking, because it loses it’s flavor. So, that’s what I’ve always gone by. I never ever use salt, because I know that Jason will add it (a lot) and I try really hard to limit his salt and sugar intake as much as I can.
Pepper I’m watching my blood pressure so I’ve stopped adding to my personal meals. I hope I can lower my BP so that I won’t have to take medication. sigh.
