I like Pinochle, but I haven’t played it in probably about 10 years. I should really start teaching my kids some card games, so they can eventually play with the old people.
Gin Rummy and Hearts. I don’t get to play either very often.
Texas Holdem. When we first started to play 5-6 years ago, we were playing every single Friday night. Now, we’re lucky to get a game in a couple times a year. Not enough, that’s for sure. I’m pretty good too, which is surprising. lol
Cribbage. And we recently taught Josh how to play. Figured he’d have a good game to play with us, and also, it helps with his basic addition, since the game is all about adding up to 15 and 31, and everywhere in between. He’s gotten pretty good at it, although he’s not very fast yet.
Texas Hold ‘em. We play once a week in the winter. Everyone is too busy here in the summer. I learned last winter and it’s a lot of fun though since it’s an all girls game a lot of time is spent talking and gossiping.
