Any time I hear about a situation where women are sitting around saying, “That guy deserved it,” I automatically look at the other side. What was SHE doing?

If he hit her, and this was out of character for him, did she provoke it? Because yes, it’s wrong for a man to hit a woman, but… BUT… if she’d spent months abusing HIM, had he finally had enough of it, and was finally defending himself? Because women get away with plenty – whacking, pinching, even verbally abusing their men – and the men are supposed to just laugh it off. But if they turned around and did that once, just once… pinched HER, or whacked HER for making a dirty joke… he’d likely be facing abuse charges.

So I look at this situation, what little i know about it, and say, “shame on those women.” This looks, to me, like a “mean girl” situation gone way out of control. There were FOUR women. Doesn’t ONE of them have an ounce of self-respect? Well, I guess they answered my question. They were cheaters themselves.

So, yeah, I agree with Joy… if four men had been cheating on their wives with the same woman…. and they found out about each other… and then banned together to hold her down and glue HER genitals together? You can BET that woman would be all over Oprah, The View, and every other TV show. She’d already have her own book and reality show, and she’d be the heroine of her own little tragic love story.

Pugs, too, just crack me up.

That said…. I’d probably squish that sweet little Maltese if I played with her like I play with Cruiser (Golden Retriever). Heck, I’d probably squish her if I played with her like I used to play with my CAT!!!

I guess to me, what’s “un-funny” about this is the situation these women got themselves into. So childish.

I wouldn’t say I was shocked or anything, though. I’ve heard of so many worse things that both men and women have done to “that member.” I remember when the Lorena Bobbit thing happened and all the men were limping around in sympathy, my mom mentioned an incident where a motorcycle gang chopped off all the “members” of a rival gang, in a quaint nearby resort town. When I worked in a nursing home, I had to help a guy who, er, had to sit down to pee in his younger days.

I remember two of the guys I dated, ranting on the topic of circumcision. To hear men talk, you would think there was nothing more sacred, valuable, or influential in this world than the male member. Having gotten all the way through life without one, I can’t help but laugh at the importance men place on it. I think maybe that’s why women laugh when some guy’s member is “threatened.”

To my knowledge, super glue needs to “wear off” the body. I couldn’t find any definite answers for that. Also, a few reports stated that his penis was glued to his stomach and the other to his leg. Either in my opinion is really bad. What about emptying your bladder?? How would that work??

If you force me to think about how bad supergluing a man’s genitals would be, I have to say I’d have to know more about how much it physically hurt him. If he just had to be embarrassed to go to the emergency room and get it fixed, well, “paybacks are a b—h” as my brothers would say. But if there was intense pain involved or actual danger, and all he was doing was what these women were doing too, then that’s not funny.

Do you remember Lorena Bobbed-it? I remember getting a lot of laughs out of that story. I remember telling my dad and brothers “why the heck would she leave it intact, and then go and show the cops where she threw it, so they could sew it back on again? She should have put it in the garbage disposer, R-R-R-R-R!” And every male in the vicinity would get angry and put their hands “down there” as if they could feel how bad that would hurt, R-R-R-R-R! It was hilarious. For years you couldn’t mention Lorena Bobbit in front of a man without him suddenly acting protective of his genitals. I am sorry, it is funny. But remember, Lorena did it because he was abusing her (and I think she’d tried more “conventional” ways to stop it, unsuccessfully). And she did go to jail.

I love dogs, but the little yapping ankle bitters tend to be obnoxious.
