no.. when i’m down i tend to rarely get out of my pjs or comfy clothes..

  2. Joy says:

    I’m with Tiredmom on this.

  3. nikki says:

I ‘m with Tired on this one also. When you are depressed who wants to get all dolled up in cute clothes, you’re just not in the mood. Although maybe if we did it would make us feel better 🙂

  4. When I’m low I have to wear something that makes me feel protected, something conservative, something that doesn’t leave any room for me to feel vulnerable or exposed. When I’m happy, I can wear something fun or goofy or just a bit on the wild side.

It is strange how wearing different things makes me feel differently. Is this true for others as well?

Ditto for me. The more depressed I am, the less I wanna primp!! I normal wear tank tops and shorts anyway if I am at home but when I am depressed or tired.. I wear the ones that I have had for years that have holes, tears, etc.. lol Sorry but they are soooo comfortable!!

  6. K. Trainor says:

Strike one more for TiredMom. I sleep in sweats, and they tend to be worn when I’m down in the dumps, as well.

  7. Sue says:

I think TiredMom said it well…

  8. kweenmama says:

I haven’t noticed that I dress any differently…maybe I need to pay more attention to it.

  9. Bavani says:

I’m not sure either – most of the time, I dress “conveniently” – I guess if I’m very happy, I look for something nicer to wear…..if I remember 🙂

  10. Jane says:

I pretty much dress the same everyday. I wear my “barn clothes” so much they feel like second skin. I do spent a lot of time when I’m not farming is soft pj type things. I have to get up and going even if I’m depressed and I wear the same clothes to work and the same clothes to relax. I go out so seldom I don’t count it.

  11. Ali says:

If I’m working, I dress the same. If at home, yes, I tend to sit around in my comfy clothes.

I have learned to dress for what suits me and comfortable. If one day I wake with a little extra “junk in my trunk” so to speak, then I don’t wear my tighter fitting clothes. There are times I do want to just slum it and be in comfy clothing.

Thus said, my husband doesn’t like that. He asks that I don’t dress in sweats. I have had to come up with comfy clothes that still look cute and are appealling.

My makeup is the thing that is likely to be skipped when not feeling my best.. although STRANGELY every time I feel like I look my worse is when men seem to be attracted to me in DROVES. Go figure!
