What a miracle, thank God

I had to write about this today.  After seeing it last night on the news, I know now there are miracles in life.  This is one of them.  We’ve heard about this everyday since one of the girls is from Minnesota and the news didn’t sound good.  They were lost for almost a week in Alaska.

I am so happy for these families today.  I actually got tears in my eyes when they were reunited with their parents last night.  Aaaawww…..I like good news stories with nice happy endings.

Just when I think the world might be a better place, the Negative Nellie’s all come out of hiding. I was talking to someone who shall remain nameless but those of you who know me, will know EXACTALLY who I’m talking about. So I say “isn’t that great news those girls were found alive?” Oh she said, “that is a great thing,” then to go on and on about what they should have done or shouldn’t have done, what they should have had and what they didn’t have. GIVE ME A DAMN BREAK! Then I pop over to http://www.KARE11.com to check the story there and there’s a blog going on and some ass is saying those girls should have to pay for that search!! Can’t anyone be happy for good news JUST ONCE?? Just one time, can’t we show compassion and not pass judgment?? Maybe they didn’t use the best sense but they got lost. Give me a break. Just when I thought all was right with the world, I‘m sadly proven wrong!!!

I have a pretty good idea of who said that… whatever!! It is a miracle, those 2 girls have angels looking over them no doubt! Don’t listen to the negativity, so what what they think. I’m beyonds thrilled for their parents. Can you even begin to imagine how they felt not knowing when and if they would ever be found? It gives me goose pimples!!

I also saw this on the news last night and this morning. I agree with you Joy, it’s like nobody can be happy anymore and always seem to need someone to “blame” for things. As if that’s going to change anything anyway. These families have to be out of their minds with happiness. As far as who’s paying for the search, who would even think of that at a time like this? These two girls just got lost and no matter what, I’m so glad they were found alright.

  16. Jason says:

It’s always different when the shoes on the other foot. Would he/she still want the girls to pay for the rescue if it were their children.

I thought of you and your family when I heard this report Joy. I’m thinking I saw it either on GMA or some other morning show and I heard those “Negative Nellie’s” talking about paying for the rescue. My main question then is what are the rescue squad’s for if not finding people who get lost or are in trouble??? HELLO…Let’s just keep happy thoughts and let others keep the negative ones. I’m very happy these two young girls are safe. Think if what “could” have happened to them.
