Perhaps as a “kid kid” it was different but as the kid I am now I love just lying on the grass, my arms out streched eyes closed and just feeling the grass under my hands. It’s one of my most peaceful experiences. That and ice-cream in the park!
I used to LOVE those merry-go-rounds where you pushed them as fast as you could and then hung on for dear life. They weren’t very common, and I haven’t seen one for a while. I suppose they’ve been determined to be too dangerous. Sad! I also loved standing on the swings and trying to swing 360 degrees (never got to 360, but got past 180 regularly). And walking on top of the play equipment. And climbing up the outside of the school building (we had school playgrounds, not parks, in my neighborhood). Anything really high and daring. I would ground my kids for six years if I caught them doing the stuff I used to do!
My kids are too young to do much at the park. Wee one loves swinging, but her sister hates it. We haven’t been to a park for a while, since our backyard is just as much fun for now.
Bailey says climbing on whatever he can climb on.
I love to swing!!! As high as I can possibly swing
My kids love the monkey bars, and the tire swings!!!!!!!
Chris says the slide.
Trinity says climbing things.
I would say the monkey bars. We use to RUN to get them before everyone else. We were so mean…
fly my kite
Bud says run and climb and slide
Olivia: slide
