It depends on the weather, if it’s a nice day I’ll go bike riding, golfing, wash the car,cut the grass, or just be outside. In the winter time I hardly do anything except for shovel the driveway or go ice skating. You can tell by looking at me I don’t live in the gym!
I used to and really do need to start doing it again. Actually, I never ran in the summer. I pretty much did what I wanted in the summer but we are all more active then I think. I used to love to run in the winter. The humidity and heat really affect me as I get older but so far, I still love our winters. I love the way the snow sparkles and I love the way the crisp air feels when I breath.
I love to run but I can’t anymore because it’s to hard on my knee. My doctor actually said that running is not good for your bones so I got an elliptical and I love it. I haven’t been on it for awhile but over the winter I would get on for at least an hour everyday and I lost 25 lbs in 3 months. I maintain my weight now by eating right and staying active but I need to get back on the elliptical.
I am a regular exerciser:) I run, lift weights, and my new kick is Turbo Jam. I feel great after working out and it lifts my mood. If I ever stop exercising I’ll have to go in for a psych eval!
I exercise regularly now.. Months ago I didnt..
I hardly ever exercise except for golf and bowling. Hang on there is a turbo jam infomercial on I have to get the number, The women are hot also BRB.
Exercise? What’s that?? No, I hardly ever exercise. I guess picking up Hunter and doing massages all the time, that’s my regular exercise. Oh and a couple sit ups too. Sitting up to get out of bed and get my lazy butt off the couch 🙂
Darryl, your a pig!!
I actually like to exercise in the summer. Last year I was doing pillates whilst lying on my sun lounger all summer long. This year I suck. But its day 7 of being back on the food plan and Im doing great.
Maybe when life settles down a bit… Ill get back into it. I have been thinking about hiring a personal trainer.
I have never been a “regular” exerciser. I like more spontaneous exercise. Like one day I will go for a walk in our hilly neighborhood and cover 5-10 miles, then I won’t do it again for a week. OK, that is the “old me” I’m talking about. Before my kids came home 9 months ago. Now I can’t leave the kids to go exercise – when they are sleeping, I have to be working or sleeping. I can take the kids out walking, but if I do, I let them walk – they are 1.5 years old – so you can imagine I am not keeping a cardio pace. I used to do yoga every day too, but now I hardly ever do it. I know I should figure out a way to work it in, but so far it isn’t happening.
I wish I could say I exercise enough by chasing my kids around, but that would be a lie at this point. Truth is, I take them out back every morning and evening, but I am sitting on my butt for the most part, watching them play. I am just not a morning person, and I always feel drained at the end of the day. I hope this is just a temporary thing.
I don’t have a weight problem, so I don’t have immediate consequences from not exercising. But I know it’s breaking me down slowly, so I need to figure out how to reverse the trend.
How come you are asking horrible questions now? huh? Jokes I try to walk everyday, can’t run my knee complains, shouts and swears at me lol (the language of that thing!). Am finally getting back to into a routine after sooooo many years its embarrassing, hey *shrug* least I always have a comfy seat!
I’m very lucky and I’m very slim but I am very active. It’s a rare day that I don’t get out in the fresh air and do something physical.
