Depends on how hot it is. Really hot AC otherwise windows open. In my car I never use the AC unless I’m driving long distance on the freeway ” can’t stand the noise”

  2. K. Trainor says:

I much prefer fresh air, but if it’s muggy out, the AC goes on. Mugginess + hot flashes = mean Mom!

  3. Erin says:

At home, it’s always windows open. NO AC this year…. MDs feel it’s too dangerous because of the germs. But really it hasn’t been TOO bad with just fans. You learn to manage. In the car…. I have the AC on brutal days.

  4. SKL says:

Except on those few days a year when it’s really, unbearably hot, I prefer God’s natural air conditioning. But, I am not alone here, and the majority vote is usually for too-cold air conditioning in the summer, and too-hot heat in the winter. It ticks me off, but I’ve learned to accept it and be glad I only pay a third of the bill.

  5. Tosha says:

Since its always way too hot here I prefer the a/c.. Plus our yard is pretty much dirt and if the window are open and the wind blows its not pretty.. blech!

  6. Joy says:

I would much rather have the windows open but at this stage of my life, I’m not going to suffer so when it’s hot and muggy, the a/c goes on. I’m with Kelly, hot flashes + humid and hot MN = mean me!

  7. Tessa says:

    i agree with Shane

  8. Tessa says:

My mom would agree Joy! She says she grew up without a/c, so she will have it on if she gets hot-she earned it!!

  9. darryl says:

When its muggy air on but if its hot and low humidity windows open fans running. In my car the air cond is NEVER on.

  10. darryl says:

    WOOHOO Tessas online.

  11. Joy says:

WOOHOO is right! Good to see you Tessa.

  12. What’s an aircon? Jokes yers windows open for sure, I feel closer to nature that way, less plastic.

  13. Mary says:

    Windows open, please!

  14. Sue says:

I like the windows open, Toby would rather have the air on. It’s a constant struggle!

  15. kweenmama says:

I like the windows open in the early morning when the air is cool and fresh and you can hear the birds singing. By 10 or 11 in the morning it is time for the AC to come on and the windows to be closed.

  16. Jane says:

I think I’m with most others. I would rather have the windows open but if it’s hot and humid, the a/c goes right on. If I wouldn’t have wanted to use it, I wouldn’t have put it in my house. Plus my husband has really bad allergies and without the air, he’d have a hard time at certain times of the year.

  17. Jason says:

I hate uncontrolled conditions. I will never eat outside either. Fresh air sucks, it’s 2008 turn on your air.

  18. Ali says:

I’m with Jason on this one. I live in right outside of L.A, bring on the air.

  19. nikki says:

We get a great breeze come up from the lake so I have my windows open as much as possible, but once it gets muggy and hot I’m pretty quick to turn the a/c on. I even have windows open in the dead of winter. I hate stale air. I need constant air movement going on. It drives Jason nuts:)

  20. Candi says:

I would rather have the windows open, but when it is really hot, i need that cold air, I have central air now, so if it gets hot a put it on a little, and then open the windows. I like to have it cold when I sleep for sure.
