I do know how to swim, although I havent been swimming for quite some time. I dont know if its because I dont want to wear a bathing suit or I just dont have the time to go and find a place to swim, but I just dont go anymore. I wish I had a pool, because it is such great exersize and I would love to play in the pool with the kids.
Yes, I know how to swim, and yes, I still go. The kids love it and nothing tops off a warm summer day like a dip in the lake.
I taught myself how to swim as a kid, so I guess you could say I “know how” since I don’t drown in the pool. I could probably use some lessons to improve my skills.
I rarely swim – maybe once in the past 5 years. I am very self-conscious in a bathing suit. I also hate the amount of chemicals dumped into swimming pools. If the water is that dirty, I don’t think adding bleach to it is going to make me feel any more pure. I feel better swimming in a lake or pond, but my chances to do that are few and far between.
I used to compete, these days I don’t get much opportunity but when I’m near a pool I’m in it!
Yes I know how to swim but I rarely do anymore. I really would rather not swim in a lake, they creep me out. A pool is fine just not my thing anymore.
Yes, I know how to swim, and yes I still swim, i love to swim in our above ground pool.
Yes, I’ve been a swimmer my whole life. Neither of my parents could swim so they saw to it my brother and I could. I used to teach it and was a lifeguard at one time. I’d like to say I still swim but I mostly just play in the water. In our pool and in the lake.
Yes, I sure can swim and love to do it. We go almost every night if it’s hot out. Sue’s right, there’s nothing like a dip on a hot day.
I can swim but I haven’t been for quite some time. I hate putting a bathing suit on. If we had our own private pool I’m sure I would use it every day.
I admit that I don’t know how to swim. I do enjoy the pools though. I feel so much safer in them. Besides I think the lakes are disgusting! I think I’m afraid of the fish biting my feet 🙂
LOL Jenny, I know what you mean about the fish!! It is kinda creepy. I’ll teach you to swim if you want at your mom’s. I’m serious.
Jenny the sun fish in our lake are like piranhas!! They are not afraid of you, the will swarm you and bite!! Last summer one came up and bit at Jason’s nipple ring!! It was hilarious:)
I’m a pretty good swimmer though i haven’t been swimming in years.. The gators keep me out of the river now days!
