Question of the day (by Darryl)

Do you believe in Karma.  Like if you do something bad, something bad will happen or vice versa?  Or in other words, what does karma mean to you?

Yes, I believe in Karma. Because I saw how real it is. Its like Science, you just have to observe and you’ll see its happening around. You can prove it by yourself without even experimenting on it.
    GOD BLESS!

I do beleive in Karma. For example my boss is probably the biggest a–hole I’ve ever met in my life, and 4yrs. ago he had a severe heart attack and should have died. He spent 3 weeks in the hospital and spent a ton of money on medical bills and has to spend a lot of money on his medication that he has to take for the rest of his life.
“I beleive that it’s all payback” So be nice or you’ll have a heart attack LOL!

Yep! Its mean of me to say but my FIL is the meanest, nastiest, careless of who he hurts, person i’ve ever met. He is 100% hateful and doesnt care who knows it.. He is also the one person i’ve seen who is in more pain in their lives and lives with it daily. He has a back injury that causes him so much pain he can barely move.. I believe 100% its his demeanor, attitude towards people, disrespect of people and in general his karma thats eating him alive now! I think he is getting what he deserves.. If he wasnt such a hateful arrogant asshole I would feel bad saying that..

I do believe in Karma. I have studied Eastern religions a lot, so I have a long-winded view of Karma. I won’t bore you all here, but I’ll make a few comments. I believe that your deeds follow you and will catch up with you, though it may not be as soon as you / others would like. And I mean every little thing – each time you sharpen your voice because you haven’t had your morning coffee before your kids started to demand something, etc. There are no “insignificant” or
“excusable” acts. Everything comes back at you. Even bad thoughts. Even bad thoughts about bad people.

I study all the religions and it once occurred to me that when Jesus died for our sins, the Bible is basically saying that Jesus took on all our karma so we wouldn’t have to carry it any more. However, I also believe that doesn’t stop us from continuing to build up karma going forward. It just gives us a chance to shake off old baggage and focus on the positive.

What goes around comes around!!! I believe if you do enough good in this world, good things will find you, and same goes for the bad. Everyone at some time or another WILL get what is coming to them. I hope!!!! I think that is God’s way of punishing those who can not/will not be punished by law.

  6. Sue says:

You bet your buns I do!!! Be good to Karma and Karma will be good to you:)

  7. K. Trainor says:

I don’t believe in any of the Eastern religions, but I completely believe in the law of what goes around comes around. I just think God is the author. ;0)

  8. It does resonate as basic spiritual economics… I also like the idea that we sometimes receive unmerited favor…

As I get older, I am also coming to understand the idea of paying it forward. There are so many people who did kind, selfless things for me when I was young and I can never pay them back, but I must instead must do good for the next generation. In this way, it seems karma spirals forward rather than coming full circle…

  9. Amber says:

You know there is a similar philosophy in Christian teachings = you reap what you sow. Another one is what goes around, comes around.

I personally have seen it far too much in my life not to believe in it. Its just a fact… like it or not.

  10. Just a Mom says:

Let’s see what is that golden rule thing…Do unto others as you would have done unto you. 🙂

  11. darryl says:

I also beleive that what comes around goes around. I think negative people have negative energy and it will follow them around also I know some people can walk into a room and lift everyones spirits just by the energy they give.

  12. Jane says:

I really believe about this the same as most of you. Due unto others and what goes around comes around. It has to after a while.
