When I worked for someone else I was always the type of person in the office or working late as sick as a dog – not very bright but hey.
This is how it works you call in sick when your not and you go to work when you are.
NEVER!! I have asked for 2 days off for vacation days, my daycare parents knew what it was for, and 1 day off for being sick…in almost 2 years!! I’m lucky though I have a scheduled week off every month!! My daycare dad works a weird schedule and has 7 days off between shift changes. If you would have asked me this like 9-10 years ago my answer would have been very different!!
Never, ever. I almost never take off work when I really am sick, for that matter.
I got “sick” days when I worked for the school district and when I left, I had 4 years “sick time” accumulated and I should add, I didn‘t get money for. I lost it all. I never called in sick but like Darryl said, I took time off when I wasn’t but I always had to get my own sub and it I took them usually when we when on mini family vacations.
Never. I even went to work sick. But now that I work from home, I do find it easier to take days off. :0)
Being I’m a farmer, I’m not sure who I’d call!! Sadly, all my chores wait for me and you have to feed and tend to your livestock whether your sick or not.
Never. If I’m feeling a little sick (sniffles, cough), I go to work, but I don’t have a problem with taking off work if I’m REALLY sick – feverish and whatnot. I’m not effective when I’m sick, so it’s better to stay home, which helps me heal faster.
I dont ever get a day off.. I don’t have the option of calling in sick..LOL if i could.. I’d do that today.. My head is pounding and I feel horrible today
Er, uh, no never. Absolutely, er, never. But IF I were to do that, it wouldn’t be more than once a month . . .

Funny that was a conversation topic last week at work. I don’t call in if I’m not sick. And IF I am sick… I must be throwing up to call in.
Um, never!!!! If I were to call in when not really sick and leave people scrambling to cover my cases I would feel horrible not to mention it’s been done to me b/4 and it pisses me right off!
