A&E: We’re making new friends every day. Only one person on our street is a little tot, though. We only saw her once. Maybe she stays in the house all the time, or maybe she goes to bed before we start our evening walk. We chat with the grown-up neighbors all the time. Probably about 10 of them make the effort to be sociable whenever they see us. (But we are usually too shy to respond!)

Trin: no “friends” just neighbors. We live in the country so most of my friends are in town.

  3. nikki says:

We don’t know yet. We’ve only lived here since last summer. I’m sure we’ll find out more when he starts school. As far as we know there is none.

  4. Joy says:

We have many good neighbors but like Trin, we live in the country so I don’t live close to any of my friends.

  5. Jane says:

Another country folk with no “street” really. Lots of friends, just not near us.

We have eleven houses on our street. I have lived here almost 35 years. I know one neighbor but I wouldn’t call them friends but they are good neighbors and have lived here longer than me. The others I don’t even say Hi too. I actually met my other next door neighbor the other day for the first time at the store and he has lived there for six years. I tend to keep to myself in the hood.

  7. Joy says:

Joan, I never thought of you as “in the hood” type before!! LOL!! You really make me laugh. Thanks so much for the award. I’m walking around all cocky!!
