I can only drive with certain people at the wheel of a car. I can drive with my wasband, my son and daughter and my sister (but only in town). Oh, and my daughter’s husband. I absolutely won’t drive with anyone else. I get panic attacks. I can drive myself but not over the bridge. I get panic attacks if I try to drive over the bridge and leave Cape Cod by myself. Though this spring I drove 30 minutes past the bridge to see a chiropractor by myself but it got to be too nerve wracking and I stopped.

It depends on where and who.
If it’s someone who I know is a really good driver – and knows the place better than me – I don’t want to drive. But except for that I trust myself the most.
Well.. now I haven’t been driving for the past 5,5 years.. (we don’t have a car) but I’ll catch up as soon as I have the possibility. Hubby doesn’t have a driving license even so the day when we can afford to have a car I’ll be the one who is driving.

I prefer to drive but no one lets me *shrug* Its not my fault I knocked over the traffic officer during the test I mean come on!!!

I am never the passenger.. I don’t handle other people driving well and tend to get worked up and hold on for dear life.. I always drive. My husband and everyone else just lets me and doesnt get on my case. The rare times im not in the drivers seat have been after having kids and being unable to drive because of my incisions..

My car – I’m the driver. I have a Passat, with a million options for adjusting the seat. I hate having to readjust it back to my seating perfection. However, if my husband does drive the car for whatever reason, he gets to drive it until he goes away on military duty or I finally adjust the seat back.

His truck – He drives. I’m not that keen on driving it anymore – I love my car too much.

It really has nothing to do with the driver (although we both knock each other’s driving), and all about the vehicle being driven.

It depends on the driver, My friend Brea is horrible and I hate riding with her. At night I have a hard time seeing so I would rather my husband drive. I never really leave Buffalo, so if were going into the cities I will not drive at all. SCARY!! So I guess my answer is if I’m just in my town I would rather drive but anywhere else I ‘d rather Jason drive, he’s been a professional driver for years and I do trust him, however he has made me nervous. But that’s me, put too many cars around me in a place I’m not familiar with and I panic(hence I do not drive in the cities)

  7. SKL says:

I agree, it depends where I’m going who I’m with. I’m happy enough to drive, but if someone else in the car knows the directions better than me, I’d rather let them drive. Also, if I’m with certain individuals who criticize my every move. Even though I may be the better driver, I don’t want to deal with their crap.

  8. Just a Mom says:

I let my husband drive but other than that it is me!

  9. mssc54 says:

I don’t mind being the passenger if we are just sitting in the car.

If we are going any where I definately am the best driver for any given destination. 😉

  10. kweenmama says:

    The driver, definitely!

  11. Amber says:

I don’t mind as long as the person driving is competent.

  12. Mary says:

If the driver is really good (Hubby), I prefer to be the passenger.

  13. Jane says:

If my husband is driving, or my dad, I’m okay riding along but otherwise, I like being the driver.

  14. pammy says:

I like to drive,be in control. But if I am tired,I like to be the passenger,ONLY if I can trust the driver
