Ha! Is this a trick question? I don’t dare sleep in with two tots who don’t wear diapers to bed.
But oh my gosh, I am NOT a morning person. I am a night owl and my ideal is to be free to sleep until, say, 1pm on weekends! I used to do it when I didn’t have kids.
Luckily, my kids are not morning people either, and they will sleep until about 7:30ish. When I read about kids who wake up at 5am and such, my blood starts to run cold.
I never sleep in, I am actually quite adverse to sleep in general these days for some reason lol but don’t tell a soul!
I don’t remember last time I had the opportunity to.. and even if I had I don’t think I could sleep so much longer… to used to get up early.
Kids wake up at six.. I wake up from them but stay in bed until 7.10 before hubby is leaving for work.
Bailey says he doesn’t like to sleep in. He used to up until this summer. He’d sleep in till 10-10:30 but now he’s up by 8 on the weekends. He gets up at 7 during the week for school. Oh hey Joy by the way, your oldest grandson is about to get on the bus for the first time in about 10 minutes:(
Since it’s rare for me to even have to set an alarm, I wake up when I wake up so I guess you could call that sleeping in. I can’t lay in bed and I’ve never been able to so once I wake up, I’m right out of bed. I get up anywhere between 8-9.
I do like to sleep in, but when I do I feel like I’ved wasted half my day. If my kids sleep in it’s about 8. They’ve always been morning people!
Fortunately I like getting up early… even on weekends.
Heck the kids aren’t teenagers yet so they don’t sleep till noon on weekends. Somebody’s got to get their breakfast. Plus I like to close the door of the bedroom to let the Mrs. sleep in.
