people slamming on their brakes on the highway when just letting off of the gas would be quite nice

  2. SKL says:

People who just HAVE to pass me even if it’s unsafe. Because those four seconds they are going to save are SOOOOO important. All I gotta say is, God help any person who rams my car when I have kids inside.

Both of the above, and then the people who are doing anything but driving – reading, make-up, no hands on the wheel.

Phone talking only bothers me if the person is having trouble staying in their lane or is being unduly aggressive/unattentive. I can talk and drive at the same time – it helps keep me awake late at night, by making my mind keep busy – but a lot of people can’t. And if traffic is heavy or it’s raining, forgettaboutit!

#1 – Driving BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE LEFT LANE!!!
(SKL this especially means you… keep right unless passing. lol)

#2 – Comming to a dead stop (on secondary roads) to let other cars out in traffic. This makes me the first guy in line to be rear ended BECAUSE THERE’S NO REASON TO BE STOPPED!

Thank goodness I don’t have to drive in traffic very often, maybe once every 3 months. I don’t like to leave my safe haven of good ol’ Buffalo (although we have some crazy drivers here.) I do not like it when people rush to get ahead of you just to stop, like SKL said, those 4 seconds ahead are so important!! And I do not like it when people speed up, move in front of you then slow down. I also hate it when people are on their cell phones and not paying attention!!

  6. Amber says:

Constant lane changing (this causes more traffic backup) No signals, And worst sin, cutting me off!

  7. Joy says:

Not using a turn signal and worse yet, not turning it off if it doesn’t go off by itself. Pulling right out in front of me when there isn’t anyone behind me and they could easily wait 10 seconds for me to go by and not make me slam on my brakes. Worst than that, pulling out in front of me, making me slow down and then driving like a snail. If your gonna pull out in front of someone, do it fast!

  8. SKL says:

Mssc, I don’t drive below the speed limit in the left lane when there are people behind me. And I don’t go in the left lane except to pass – which isn’t often. However, I drive at 55-60 in the right lane to save gas and be safe. If people want to pass me safely, great. I’m talking about people who cut too close because they think that wherever they are going is more important than the peace and safety of my family members. Usually they act highly offended that I didn’t notice they were in a hurry and voluntarily move my ass out of their way. Whatever they are doing today is so important; I hope it makes up for the fact that they are probably shortening their lifespan.

I know that sometimes it’s unavoidable, but combines in the middle of town make me nuts. Usually, they can move with traffic, so the hugeness isn’t a problem. It’s when you get someone who isn’t real sure about driving something that big, and they do 10 down the main (only) drag in town, causing a 10-car backup. (HEY!!! Out here, that’s a traffic jam!!!)

Speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down….PICK A SPEED ALREADY!!!!!!!!!

  11. mssc54 says:

lol SKL I was joking when I pointed you out. 😉

Those left lane people drive me crazy… especially when the next exit is the hospital exit. You never know when someone is rushing their kid or spouse to the emergency room.

    I hate “breakers” and “tailgaters!”
