Have you ever been an audience member for any television show?  If you haven’t been, which one would you like to be a member of?

Jerry Springer for sure OR Oprah when she interviews Amber, think that would just be WOW

seriously just imagine… she loves Oprah!

Ok Graham Norton – he has me laughing so hard most days!

When I was a preteen, I got to tour NBC studios in NYC and we got to sit in on some newshow. It was neat to watch the cameras and the grips, moreso than the actual program.

I don’t watch much tv, and even fewer shows that have an audience, but if I did, I’d like to be on Ellen. Her show cracks me up, and she seems very down to earth.

  3. Laura (LS) says:

I got to be in the audience for Bozo’s Circus (in Chicago, ’70s) when I was a kid… I was so mad when the kid next to me got chosen for the Grand Prize Game!!

The only show I can think of now that I’d like to be in the audience for would be The Red Green Show (a Canadian show on PBS), and that’s off the air, too. But it’s so hilarious, I’d have loved to be there for it.

  4. SKL says:

I think I would have liked to be in the studio audience for Archie Bunker.

  5. Sue says:

Does the news at the state fair count??? That’s as close as I’ve come to a TV audience! Otherwise, I’d like to be part of Rachael Ray or The Doctor’s.

  6. Just a Mom says:

I was on the same Merry-Go-Round that Tanya Tucker was on which aired on the Donny and Marie show back around 1976 I think.

When I was in Girl Scouts we went to a show called Casey Jones. It was on here in Mpls. I don’t think it was nation wide though. It was fun and exciting for me as a child.

I used to really love Oprah but now she seems to love herself enough so that we common people don’t need to. I haven’t watched her in over two years.

I supposed I’d pick The View but I wouldn’t want to go until after the election.

  8. SKL says:

Joy, I’d actually like to be a guest on the View. Not that I’d ever be invited, but I’d love to sit next to Joy Behar and look her in the eye and tell her all my uncensored thoughts. Oh, the evil in me is coming out!

  9. Jane says:

I haven’t been to any. I would like the View also but not now. I just can’t stand the yelling and Joy Behar needs a relax pill. She’s been downright ugly lately. I used to love the Oprah show too but I don’t watch anymore either. She doesn’t feel like “one of us” anymore.

I do like The Price Is Right. I think that one would be fun and lively. I do miss Bob though.

  10. Joy says:

LMAO SKL. I would pay money to see you give Joy your uncensored thoughts!!!!

It’s good to see you Jane. The View has gotten really bad. I only watch the first few minutes of it now. When the yelling starts, I turn on the radio.

I never have been in an audience. When I was little I always wanted my mom to be on “Queen For A Day” and I wanted to be in the audience of course.

Now I would probably want to be in the audience of the David Letterman or Jay Leno show.

  12. SKL says:

You know, Joy, the thing is, I would be totally calm and cool about it. Because the more other people freak out on me, the more I just get quiet and choose my words for maximum impact. And I don’t back down and change the subject just because someone else can’t take it. I actually think it would be fun to watch. Do you think she’d blow a gasket and start smacking me?

Maybe she’ll take a nice vacation after the election.

  13. Joy says:

I don’t know SKL but did you see her last week with Bill O’Reilly? She was obviously really pissed at him. He “messed” with her hair and I thought she was going to smack him. She’s really lost control.

I was an audience member on the David Letterman show. I went to NYC and they were handing out tickets in front of our hotel. All you had to be able to do was answer 3 questions about the regular characters on Letterman. It wasn’t the best night of his show, which was why they were recruiting audience members, but I’d definitely suggest to anyone taking the time to be in a studio audience. It’s free entertainment, especially if you’re already going to be in the city anyway.

My brother in law went to a recording of the Price is Right…he’d been a fan for years and years and as a gift for his 25 birthday a group of his friends got him tickets and a plane ticket.

Most of the time you can just got to the website and request a ticket for the show of your choice.

I’d like to see a recording of The Daily Show (probably not a favorite among this crowd) 😉 A recording of Ellen wouldn’t be bad either.

  15. Jennifer says:

Oh, I almost forgot…the guests that night on Letterman (this was in the winter of 2004) Lindsey Lohan, Kelly Ripa, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
