Lol Amber beat me to my list, the woman speaks my heart dang… I’ll add to her list, which is mine, Cool hand Luke, Crazy Beautiful and Shawshank Redemption

  3. SKL says:

Fried Green Tomatoes was wonderful, though I only watched it twice (usually I won’t ever watch a movie again). Movies I’ve seen lots of times: the Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, the Sound of Music, It’s a Wonderful Life, a Christmas Story, a Patch of Blue, West Side Story, Mighty Joe Young. Probably some others that I’m forgetting.

  4. Amy Hunter says:

The Matrix, Contact, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy are the ones I’ve watched the most. Others I can think of are Tim Burton’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow, As Good As it Gets, Man From Snowy River, Fantasia, and the Wolf’s Rain Anime series.

  5. Sue says:

Coyote Ugly, Sweet Home Alabama, White Christmas are the ones I can think of!

  6. Joy says:

I loved A Patch Of Blue SKL. It’s funny because I’m reading Diahann Carroll’s book now and she talks a lot about Sidney Poitier. I own the movie and was going to dig it out and watch it. Shelley Winters was wonderful in that also.

Fried Green Tomato’s, Sweet Home Alabama, Rainman, On Golden Pond, The Parent Trap (old one with Haley Mills), Peyton Place, An Officer And A Gentleman and Bridges Of Madison County.

The Secret Garden, Contact, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Hudsucker Proxy, Down With Love. Those are movies I like, but for some reason I also end up rewatching movies that are okay, but not stupendous – like Legally Blonde or James Bond movies.

  8. joanharvest says:

Wow, Amy Hunter and I love the same movies. I have seen “Contact”, “The Man from Snowy River” and “The Lord of the Ring Trilogy” so many times I have lost count. Also “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “White Christmas”, and “The Last of the Mohicans” are a few others.

Also there were a few mini series on the Sci Fi network that I went out and purchased and watch them quite often: “Taken”, “Dune” and “Children of Dune”.

Actually, I am due to watch “Taken” soon. Dakota Fanning is in it and she is amazing.

  9. Joy says:

I love Dakota Fanning too Joan.
