Here in Afreaka it is custom to braai/bbq a minimum of once a weeek right through the year, rain, sunshine, wind, snow – doesn’t matter. Once a week is rare… if most people had their way it would be everyday lol

We always have. Who can make a good steak or burger inside? They just don’t taste the same.
Of course – well, the men do. I’m not as hard core as my husband and FIL, who’ll stand in driving snow to grill me a steak. But I love them for it.
