My husband’s friend’s “sound”. Those of you who know Mike know the sound I mean and I can’t stand it!!!!! Instead of a message on the answering machine, he leaves his sound!!!!!

  3. Joy says:

Oh Sue, you gave me a chuckle this morning!! I so know “the sound” your talking about. Mike’s sound!! LMAO!!!!

I hate mouth noises. Whether is sucking something out of your teeth or chewing things or making popping sounds….drives me over the edge.

I hate hearing people chew with their mouth open. It grosses me out. (I hope I don’t do that!)

  5. SanityFound says:

I can almost can’t type it, it gives me shrills even just thinking about it! Nails on chalk boards or glass, I HATE that … slurping food, it makes my stomach churn

    Eeeew

  6. SKL says:

Oh yeah, grown adults eating noisily with their mouths open. And who needs an alarm clock when you live with a person who clears her throat so loud the neighbors can hear it? And are you blowing your nose that loud to convince everyone how sick you are, or what? My 2-year-old is more civilized.

  7. DM says:

I’m with the I hate the sound of someone chewing/ eating their food….not sure why, but it bugs me.

  8. Amy Hunter says:

I hate deep bass noises, such as my neighbor’s car idling outside my bedroom window at 5 am every morning, or when someone is playing loud music in the distance so all you get is the bass. That kind of noise cuts through earplugs and puts me on edge so I can’t sleep. I had to rearrange my bedroom to help with the car idling problem, and the fan on my humidifier also helps a little.

I also hate the sound of smoke alarms when you test them, but I do it anyway.
