Question of the Day

Yips but not often, only on special occasions 🙂
Only when I have no choice or for those sentimental obligations like Christmas cards.
I only use it for a few birthday cards and Christmas cards. If I could use email for everything I would.
I hardly use it at all anymore.
I send letters to my Grandma along with some pictures the kids drew and some photos, just because I know how much it makes her day. And also, she doesn’t do email. Other than that, correspondence is pretty much an online game for me now.
I use it for some bills that I can’t pay online, which I absolutely hate!
I pay all bills over the phone or online. The ONLY thing I mail are letters to my oldest sister, Missie, she lives up in the California mountains and it is the highlight of her day when she gets something in the mail. Sometimes it’s just a picture that Bailey colored or a small card I saw and thought of her. She’s the only one I do that with though.
There is still something about getting a letter or card in the mail that lends itself to a higher degree of importance.
It’s my favorite.
Since my dad’s family is in California, I always use to write letters to them growing up and still do sometimes.
My best friend, like a sister, moved an hour away (to Princeton, MN) in 5th grade, and since back then long distance was expensive- we wrote letters to each other every week for years!! We still write each other for fun sometimes.
I love paper and pen. For some people it’s chocolate, for me it’s paper and pen! I get like a buzz from it lol
I love getting cards and letters out of the blue- there is something special about handwritten notes. Don’t you think? It’s nice to get something besides bills in the mailbox. My mom & close friends know this, so once in a blue moon I get one. I am an addict of hallmark cards, so when my family/friends don’t get a hallmark-they check me for a fever!
Tessa, I hope you’re a Gold Crown member (or whatever it’s called!). You’d save on your cards!
I didn’t know that! Thanks Sue! I’ll check it out.
