I haven’t eaten Life Savers in decades.

One year, when I was about 10, I got one of those “Life Savers Storybooks” for Christmas and it was all tropical flavors. That was the bomb (we didn’t have “the bomb” in those days, but if we did). I liked most of the flavors, especially the ones that were not citrus-tart. Do they still have those tropical flavors out there?

Right now, I can’t imagine just eating a big chunk of sugar like that. I’ve become an old fuddy-duddy.

  2. Mary says:

    Whatever color is on top.

  3. SanityFound says:

I like the red and orange ones but haven’t seen lifesavers around for ever! You can have the yellow and green ones *shivers* yurgh!

  4. Just a Mom says:

Gotta go for the red ones! By the way I love the Tropical flavor lifesavers!

  5. Joy says:

I have to say the red ones too. What is it about the red ones? They even made them all in packs of red for a while but I never bought them. Somehow having all red wasn’t as appealing as finding a red one. I like all the flavors really. I like grape and lime almost more than the cherry but there’s just “something” about the red ones that I can’t explain.

  6. nikki says:

The red ones!! Then the orange, then I’m done!!

  7. Sue says:

    I don’t eat lifesavers.

  8. thegoddessanna says:

I don’t eat lifesavers. When eating flavored candy, I eat the ones I dislike first, saving the good ones for last. Meaning I eat the yellow/green ones last, because I love me some lemon and lime!

  9. Sue says:

ok, I thought more about this, and although I don’t eat Lifesavers, I would eat the red and purple ones first.
