My mom always used to say “the gremlins must have done it” when nobody would fess up to a disaster such as that pumpkin pie. Too bad we didn’t have a cat to blame things on.
By the way, are your cats crazy about turkey? My parents’ late cat used to go absolutely nuts when there was a turkey in the house. We had to apply heightened security until the turkey was gone.
This is funny timing. My daughter’s two cats did just that the other night! The odd thing is that they managed to uncover the pie and eat it without moving it.
I love it–revenge of the turkeys. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
SKL, this will sound odd but my cats don’t really react to food. They’ve never had people food so they don’t beg or go after it. The only time the dogs “beg” is when the kids are eating here. They sit right under the chairs and hope something will fall to the floor.
My cats sooooo would have been guilty!!!!!!! Felix, the newest member of our family, is the worst!!! You put anything on the table and he’ll jump right up there and start eating it, no matter what it is!! The latest is him and the taco sauce, yea needless to say he was no longer white and needed a bath!!
