It can take hours if I don’t have an urgent need to get up. But usually at least a half hour. It is really hard for me.
I’m old, I hardly ever sleep and tend to wake up really early. 6.30 I’m up, dressed sipping my imaginary latte that is instant coffee ready to rock the world!
About 90 minutes. The boys wake up at 7, I don’t roll out of bed ’til around 8:30. I listen to them play, but I’m not exactly awake. I used to be able to get up before them, before 6 even, but it’s almost like I’m drugged nowadays.
It’s sleep deprivation, I tell ya!
OLD Sanity??? LOL I don’t have to leave my house on a normal day so I get up at 7 with Bailey, get him off to school, have my coffee and start my day. If I have to leave the house I get up about an hour and a half before I have to leave, which is close to never.
I guess I didn’t really answer the question properly, once my alarm goes off I’m up with in 5 minutes or I’d fall back to sleep.
My alarm goes off at 5:15 am and I am out of bed with a coffee cup in my hand by 5:18 am! Then I watch the news and by 5:40 I am getting dressed and on my way to wake up the kids!
When I wake up, I pretty much get out of bed.
I’m sorry I posted my comment on the wrong blog!! You can remove it Joy, LOL
I wake up to the sound of anything-especially when my baby makes even a peep! I get up right away. My husband will take an hour! He will shut the alarm off a million times, and many times I have to shut it off cuz he doesn’t wake up lol What is it with guys? It is innate-men wake up to doors opening or threats ( I yelled “FIRE!!” once and he jumped up so quick…but if I yell “ERIC!!” nothing.) And woman wake up to sounds of the house and family members. It is so cool how we are born with this.
I get up as soon as I wake up. I can’t lay in bed. If I have to set my alarm, I’m awake a good 15 minutes before it goes off so I just get up. If I have to go somewhere, I get up an hour and a half before I have to leave. I need to wake up slow.
I make a bee line to the coffee pot and after slamm’n down two large cups of black (no sugar) Folgers, I hit the ground running.
I usualyy get me, all three of my kids done and ready in 25 minutes, with breakfast and showers. We are quick like that. Oh and a few things like that.
