I think the last grown-up book I read from cover to cover was “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” by Maya Angelou.

  2. Joy says:

That was a wonderful book SKL. I loved it. I read an average 3 books a week so I wanted to see what you all read. My last book was an old re-read, Danielle Steele’s, Family Album. I had really forgotten it so I’m staring to re-read of my old books. I really enjoyed it.

  3. Erin says:

Ahh because I’m apparently a really old teenager… I read the Twilight series over the holidays!

I’m still reading…Before he Wakes by Jerry Bledsoe.

“The Feckin’ Book of Everything Irish: A Gansey-Load of Deadly Craic for Cute Hoors and Bowsies”, by Colin Murphy and Donal O’Dea.

    Hey, YOU asked!!!

  6. Morocco says:

Yesterday I started and finished “A Small Piece of Sky.”

  7. Mary says:

Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Finished it yesterday. In the middle of The Big Sort by Bill Bishop, as well. I, too, tend to have several books going at once.

  8. Doraz says:

I read Jane Eyre. It was very fascinating. I loved all the different characters in the book. They kept you interested.

I guess I am a teenager too. I read book 3 in the “Twilight” series. I’ve read “Jane Eyre” and it is one of my favorites. When I was younger I read a lot of the classics. Then I stopped reading because of depression. I just started reading again so I am starting with best sellers and I will work my way to , hopefully, more important books. I actually, found the Twilight series fun to read because I didn’t have to become an intellect to read it. It’s just a fun book to read.

I am looking for something to read next. Let me know if you find something good.

  11. garym1970 says:

“A Cooks Tour” by Anthony Bourdain

  12. Erin says:

That’s exactly why I read Twilight… it wasn’t a book to THINK about while reading. it’s a good diversion! My husband picked on me for the teenager book but I enjoyed it!
