Normally I can sleep with or without sounds around me. I can fall asleep to the TV, music, rain, traffic, or nothing at all. I do have some CDs of lullabies from different countries that I put on sometimes when I’m going to bed. But most nights I just shut my door, set my alarm, and pass out.
Water, it calms me to the point that I can sleep
My beloved’s voice……. we put each other to sleep talking in bed……
A fan. That constant hum is soothing!
My ringing ears! Ha Ha
Usually I just am so tired I fall asleep right away!
The ocean. Or rain.
Let’s see….in the summer, I have the air conditioner, air cleaner machine, 20 wind up clocks and an industrial fan. In the winter I have a humidifier, air cleaner machine, 20 wind up clocks and the industrial fan. I need the constant sound of things like that. I love my ticking clocks too. Not just one, that annoys me but when you have a bunch of them, I love that sound.
My fan
We have our air conditioner on year round at night. During the summer it’s on cool, winter it’s just on fan. I have to have something like that. We have a sound machine but I prefer the fan. This doesn’t put me to sleep but I love to hear the owl outside my bedroom window. Hoohoo…Jason said I was making it up (he’s deaf in one ear) so finally Mr.Owl started hoohooing one night during poker and everyone heard it, Of course then we were all making it up!!!
silence…
I like water too… like a waterfall..or ocean.
My ceiling fan and the TV.
Alison Kraus or rain
DM I love her voice, it’s so beautiful. I love a good thunderstorm and the sound of rain coming down…thanks for the reminder! Now I can’t wait for Spring…we have great thunderstorms here.
Silence for me. I wear earplugs to bed, and even then, the sound of my humidifier bothers me sometimes.
The sound of the sleeping pill bottle slowly untwisting.
The sound of a football game on tv.
