I’m sorry, but I am one of those people who have to move in church if someone around me has on toooooo much perfume or cologne! I can not handle it! I am very sensitive to those types of smells, so the allergist says!

  2. Amber says:

Im extremely sensitive to smell… and stimulation in general. Chemical smells, perfumes, even soaps. I have to be so careful. Sometimes I cant even go into the grocery store because of the variety of smells in there.

Vitamin stores drive me insane. Natural food stores. Dry Cleaners, all kinds of things every normal person takes for granted I cannot tolerate. My senses are heightened to that point.

    Oh well………. 😦

I don’t know . . . there are plenty of smells I don’t “want” to smell, but I tolerate them . . . certain people’s feet after being in nylon socks and non-leather shoes all day . . . way-too-strong perfume . . . the usual stuff. I am not fond of the smell of other people’s sweat, and I don’t mean nasty BO, but the sweat smell you get in a health club. Yish. How about the fish smell at our local open-air market? Whoa. But is there any smell that makes me totally have to leave? I can’t think of one.

There are some smells I just can’t take, cleaning materials make me feel ill and some close my chest, same goes for anything in aerosols with spray and cook my all time worst. Vitamin smell is gross, all pills in general – a bit like Amber I guess but not as extreme… and sweat… ewww goes right up my nostrilos and sticks there so public transport in peek traffic I do with two fingers sealing them holes!

  5. Morocco says:

The cafeteria at work has too many odors that really make me feel nauseous. I am so thankful that I do not have lunch duty this year!

  6. Sue says:

I can handle most smells alright, but there is one nurse at work whom I love to death and is the nicest lady EVER, but she wears the worst smelling lotion!!!!!!!! She’s actually what inspired this question!

  7. Just a Mom says:

I can not think of a single smell that I just can not tolerate at all.
Maybe I just have an impaired sense of smell! 🙂

  8. Joy says:

I’m just like Doraz. Some perfumes actually make me sick. I can get a headache immediately. When I get a magazine the first thing I do is rip those stinky pages out and let them kind of air out. They just reek.

I also can’t stand the smell of frozen White Castle hamburgers that you buy in the frozen foods at the store being heated in the microwave. I don’t understand how people can eat them when they smell like that.

  9. nikki says:

My brothers feet in the summer! They are HORRIBLE! Raunchy! I yell at him for it! Thinking about it makes me gag!

  10. garym1970 says:

Burning rubber!! There is a town not to far from me that has a semi tire factory in it and the entire town smells like burning rubber. It makes my stomach turn every time I drive through it which thankfully, is not very often.

  12. Elena says:

Pretty much any chemical. I have to hold my breath and run when I need to get something or other down the laundry soap aisle at the grocery store.

dog farts…I can’t stand that smell!
