Not a lot bores me. I am lucky that I enjoy most things. I do not care for plays or the opera. That would bore me.

  2. Doraz says:

I remember a professor in college telling us, “If you are bored, that means you are a boring person.” I always think of Mr. Hamilton when I am starting to “get that feeling.” Nowadays, I am pretty happy with most stuff. I do get bored with people’s attitudes! Does that count, Joy?

  3. Joy says:

    Absolutely Doraz ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. SKL says:

When I was a kid, if I was ever dumb enough to complain of boredom, my mom solved my problem by finding me some housework to do.

As a result, I learned how to stay “not bored” for the most part. But when it comes to a paying job, sometimes you have no choice, so . . .

Doing repetitive, mindless work bores me after a point. Up to a point, it’s kinda therapeutic.

Reading or watching or hearing anything more than once usually bores me. There are some exceptions, such as really great literature and movies.

Reviewing other people’s work (when it takes hours or days) can get boring.

I can’t read sucky books. You know, the ones that drone on and on even though they promise you there is a point or climax somewhere. I’ve tried and I just can’t stick with them.

    Numbers and Deuteronomy . . . sorry, but . . . .

Lectures, I actually can’t concentrate longer than 30 minutes if I am not involved in the conversation – that is my cut off then my brain goes to lala land… other than that not much I always try to find something interesting in everything and beesides my brain sees weird things ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. mssc54 says:

    Repetition.

    Repetition.

    Repetition.

    Repetition…

    (yawn)

    (sigh)

  7. Sue says:

Repetition is a good one to cause boredom. When I’m stuck in the house and can’t go anywhere I can get bored. Yes, there is always something to do around the house, but I can still be bored doing laundry or the dishes and I’m not always in the mood to do that all day!

  8. nikki says:

Not a lot bores me, I always find something to do. And when I am bored, I don’t mind because that usually means I’m just sitting down with nothing to do which is kinda nice sometimes. The one thing that does bore me to no end is old western movies…I just can’t stand them. Jason however can watch them all day!

  9. Just a Mom says:

    My kids saying “I’m Bored!”
I don’t get bored very easily. If worse comes to worse there is always time to go outside and blow bubbles. It makes the kids laugh to see an adult blowing bubbles and it makes the neighbors wonder what’s wrong with you! ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Joy says:

LOL Just A Mom. I actually like playing with bubbles too.

  11. Elena says:

Bored? I can’t remember the last time I was bored! It’s been too long. Maybe waiting in a line somewhere. But I usually have the little ones with me to keep me in a state of anti-boredom, otherwise known as excruciating frustration! ๐Ÿ˜€

  12. javajunkee says:

what bores me…not sure if it bores me or just irritates the crap out of me. People who go on and on about their accomplishments..or their causes …I’ve got a couple people in my indirect weekly path that are all for a “cause” ..that’s great the whole freaking town and surrounding areas know about it…don’t bring it up everytime there is opportunity. And those who talk about what they’ve gotten or are getting. When they talk and I yawn..I can tell them 100% sure that it’s not because I’m trying to get oxygen! So those conversations bore me.
