I have a lot of watches – Not one of the batteries lasts longer than 3 months when I wear it!
Needless to say, I gave up wearing them over a year ago..
I used to be hung up on time, if my watch wasn’t on me I’d start to freak out then one day I decided to push my boundaries, drove myself nuts for a week and haven’t worn one since 🙂
I have 3 watches and very rarely wear them. I love the watch I got from my grandpa for graduation but it’s too nice to wear everyday. If I worked in a office and wore a suit and tie everyday I would probably wear that watch everyday.
Rarely, but if I do, it’s for decoration only! I look at my cell phone if I want to know the time.
never have.
Sometimes
Yes, everyday. If I don’t have it own I feel lost.
I have one of those bodies that watches don’t work on. If I wear a watch, in a matter of a day, it stops working. I’m not sure what it is. I’ve heard many theories on this subject. It’s not something I lose sleep over. I did have to wear one when I worked on the playground and I would take it off each day when that part of my job was over and it worked doing that. I love the way some watches look and I wish I could find one that would stay going on me.
Are you kidding me Joy???? I didn’t know that about you. I’m the same way and Jason says I’m nuts!!!! With in hours it stops working. I would love to find out why this happens to certain people. I’ve been wanting to try the ones that have the leather strap between the back of the watch and my skin. Thinking if the actual watch didn’t touch my skin it would work. I haven’t tried yet but I want to. I like watches.
I would have to say I feel like just a mom’s comment also! I actually start driving off sometimes, and when I notice my watch is not on…I go crazy! Now, my phone is a back up! But, I still like the look of watches, so I try to wear them everyday!
No, my battery ran out quite some time ago and I’ve never gotten around to replacing it. I usually have a cell phone or clock around to tell me what time it is.
I don’t usually wear one and use my cell phone to find out the time. I do own a very nice Fossil watch that I wear when I dress up for a wedding or take my wife out on the town.
I do wear one. I feel lost without it also! I’ve heard that it’s a person’s magnetism that affects the watch. I don’t know just what I heard! My grandpa had the same problem though.
So we’re magnetic Joy!!!!!! 🙂
LOL Nikki. Almost makes me feel special 😉
I gave up wearing one, they kept stopping too, didn’t matter if it was on my wrist, or in my pocket. in my case, they’d stop because I would break them.
