Whichever one is on the outside. I love how the newer theaters have arm rests that go up. Since the only time I go to the theater is when I’m on a hot date, I like to snuggle, or at least hold hands. That’s when the retractable arm rest is good. But the arm rest on the other side of me is all mine. I put my purse and coat in the seat next to me to make sure no one even has a chance to think about taking it from me.
One is ALL mine and the other I share with my wife. 😀

I’m like Laura! I also have sharp elbows and am not afraid of using them. I never could figure out why they made the chairs that way. 1 arm rest for 2 people to use; what is that?!

Normally the right if I have to choose one. I’d like both but won’t fight over it. Usually I’m with Bailey and he doesn’t use his at all so it works out pretty well for me, most of the time.
I go to theaters so little that I don’t really care. The right I suppose. I do know the lady with the BIG hair and to much perfume will sit right in front of me and the talking woman right behind me!
It’s better that I watch movies at home I guess.

the left one is for my phone and the right one is for my frozen coke. I paid enouogh to get in so me and my phone can have a place to enjoy. I paid enough for my (butter flavored oiled) popcorn and frozen coke that they deserve their own place too!
I love to have both, if just one it’s the right; but if I’m sitting next to two armrest hogs, I won’t fight for them – I’ll just cross my arms and make the best of it.
