I used to always wash and wax my own car but I haven’t done it by hand for years.
I mainly wash it myself or one of the kids will do it for me. For special occasions, I go to the car wash…hand wash only!!! ๐
Clean car? What’s that?
If i stay in town I do it by hand, thats all we have. But when i go to Altona, they now have a drive threw one and thats the one I will use,Just sit back and relax. ๐
I do both. I routinely take the company van to the professionals. The early bird special can get it all done for just over ten dollars!
I park outside and let the rain do it, except when I go for servicing, then my dealer washes it for free.
Oy. One of these days I’m gonna take a picture of my truck on a typical day, and post it on my FB, then you’ll understand….
The car washes in town totally earn their money, because most trucks look like mine. Right now – and this is a CLEAN day – there’s 1/8″ of road “dust” on it. On any given day, I cannot see out the back of my truck. In fact, I use my side-view mirrors to navigate, and my rear-view is centered on Hot Rod so I can talk to him in the back seat and not turn around.
When I do turn the hose on it here at home, my driveway is white (rather than the usual black) for a good week after.
I do like to leave it out, like SKL does, but it has to be a total gullywasher, otherwise the dirt just turns to concrete, and then I can’t get in!
Long live dirt roads….
Military housing prohibits washing your car!
Both usually drive in in one of the spray and wash and we do the work.
I always wash my own cars at the car wash. The automatic car washes don’t seem to get the car totally clean to me. I’m kinda anal about having a clean car both inside and out. ๐
We have gotten lazy and we take our cars to the car wash. The kids are always bugging me about letting them wash the cars so this summer to save monry they just might get their wishes!
monry should be money ๐ฆ
The car wash, but I love to vacuum it out and get it all pretty inside!
I wash it myself. Car washes don’t get it as clean as I like it. Kinda like no one takes care of your kids like you do! Why pay for it if I can do it all myself!!!??
I was it myself when I finally break down and do it
wash, that should be wash not was
Car wash…. its very inexpensive here and they do a good job. It gets washed every other week, or more frequently if it gets dirty somehow. The main thing for me is having the car waxed frequently to preserve the finish on the car. I don’t know why I am obsessed with it though, my cars are both garaged….lol
