I had my name on an everyday detention list…does that count?

however that being said I went to college and got my name on the deans list…is that close enough?

I sure was! Until high school, that is. That’s when hormones kicked in and, as my mom likes to say, the pod person came to visit. My grades dropped and I lost my honor roll status, but I still passed all my classes. A few years later, I graduated from grad school with honors and on the dean’s list, so I was back on the honor roll again. I felt like I should have bought my mom one of those bumper stickers proclaiming how awesome her kid is.
