  1. Gary says:

I would say John F. Kennedy because he was one of our most popular presidents in “recent” times.

  2. Joy says:

I’m leaning towards a woman. When I found this question, I started to think about who’d I’d pick and I haven’t been able to nail “just one” down. I would say it’s between Eleanor Roosevelt, Betsy Ross, Amelia Earhart, or Rosa Parks.

    • SKL says:

I too was thinking of a woman, but sadly I couldn’t think of a US woman who has been seen as that important in our history. Maybe Harriet Tubman though I don’t know enough about her to really say. Or a great woman humanitarian (who wasn’t also a communist), but none of national fame come to mind. Would love to see someone like Sarah Palin up there someday.

  3. Doraz says:

Wow Joy, this is a tough one. I would also like to see a woman. The ones you mentioned are all in the running. *(*

  4. Just a Mom says:

I would have to say Ronald Reagan. He turned the economy around, put an end to the Cold War and really just made Americans proud to be American.

  5. nikki says:

Good question I have no idea…Ronald Reagan deserves it but many do…hard call! A women would be great too!

  6. Laura (LS) says:

    I like my brother’s answer:

“I’d put my face up there. But REALLY really tiny, because there really isn’t any room for anyone else, and if my face was really tiny, nobody could see it anyway, but then I’d get to say, ‘Hey, my face is on Mt. Rushmore!!’ “

  7. Tosha says:

LOL.. WYATT!!! That kid is king of his world and can do anything and everything and doesnt care who or what tries to stop him. I’ve never seen a more determined 2 year old! He deserves it!

  8. Sue says:

No one. It’s lovely the way it is and if you added someone else, it’d take away from what it was/is all about.
