Ideally, I make it. I don’t always have time in all the hubbub. I’d say I make the bed about 50% of the time nowadays.
Yeah right, don’t make me laugh. I only make it if my daughter makes me. I wonder if she’d put me in time out if I didn’t make it when she asked? Besides, my cat doesn’t like it when it’s made.
LOL Joan, “only if my daughter makes me!” Giving you a time out!!!! You make me laugh!
I work nights. When I get home in the morning, the huz always makes up my side of the bed for me. Sweetness.
Well, it starts out “made” – which, for me, means just straightening out the blankets and fluffing the pillows. But then Josh gets up there (it’s where he gets to watch Curious George and Lambchop), and when I disappear from the house, I have a strong suspicion that Cruise uses it as his bed.
So yeah, I make it, but by the time I get back to it at night? Shouldn’ta bothered.
Not every day and not always in the morning. I do like having a made bed though and if I haven’t made it that day, I will make it before bed and then crawl in. Toby can’t figure that out!
my bed is the couch. Easy to make I roll my blankets up in a roll so all I have to do every night is just unroll it back out and crawl in between them.
The kids are instructed to make theirs but at 17 and 21 I’m betting the majority of the time they aren’t made.
You can come sleep with me…I did not mean that in any weird way! No “dir-ty” required!!
Jason might get really into that ๐
I ALWAYS make it. There’s just something about a bed that’s made that makes the whole room look better. It only takes a minute. I’m like Sue, I can’t stand to crawl in it if it’s not made.
I do but not right when I wake up. I actually just made it. I get Bailey off to school get my coffee, turn my laptop on and then I clean up my room and make my bed. ๐ My bedding is too pretty to not be made up!
I usually get to it sometime in the afternoon when I walk by it at some point in the day. :+)
Same here Nikki, always make it but first I have a coffee and sit on the compter then clean up the room.I too cant climb into an unmade bed at night, doesnt feel good all crumpled up.I do sort of annoy myself, somedays I REALLY want to take a nap in the bed but that means messing it up so I walk around tired all day just to avoid having to remake it.I have issues,LOL!
I make my bed every day but Sunday.
I make my bed every morning. When I 1st got married whoever got up last made the bed but for some reason that has gone out the window in the past year. I guess after 10 years the honeymoon is over!
I used to make my kids make their beds but now that they are almost 10 & 17 I don’t bother anymore. If they want their rooms to look like a mess go for it but they must keep their door shut so I can’t see it! My youngest daughter keeps her room clean and bed made because she knows I won’t tuck her in at night if it’s a mess!
Well, I am one of those people who make all the beds and open the windows to “change the air” in the room! Old Italian tradition passed on to me from my mom! My mom also always said, ” Fix your bed, someone might visit us today and see it!” She was right, they did just drop in at our house!! lol ๐
I do too!! I make mine and Bailey’s and open all the bedroom windows (if it’s nice) ๐ Never thought of it as “changing the air” I like that!
I pull the sheets and comforter up to the pillows and don’t worry about it being perfect.
I half make it, just like mssc54. I do a more thorough straightening of the sheets and blankets when I’m ready to crawl into bed at night. I don’t like things all twisty.
my bed only gets “made”err straightened up right before i get into it at night..
