I like to go to my regular blogging friends. I also like to seek out new ideas from other people! If I have time, I allow myself the time to visit and make comments on new blogs. If I only have a limited time, I stay with all my blogging friends! There are so many talented people out in the blogging world. It is sad that we are often limited due to time! UGH! I would not miss your blog! Love all the action and fun! 🙂
I generally read what interest mes, and when I surf I look for content relevant to my life. Often though I will revisit a blog if they have similar poltitical outlook, or have something really wacky going on.
One blog I find myself returning to all the time (Rick’s blog) because the comments are so unbalanced it is a hilarious read.
I”m not sure what blogging friends means because that concept seems to loose definition at times for me. I enjoy reading blogs so much more than social networks, like facebook and myspace which often lack genuine content.
Because of time restrictions I generally stick to blogs of those who regularly visit me, I have trouble just keeping up with them all a lot of the time. There have been some I regularly visited in the past who I would never hear from so I eventually gave up. The one I find difficult is if someone regularly visits my blog & leaves comments but their blog is about stuff that I don’t really find of any particular interest, but because they visit me I feel obligated… I am not referring to any of my current regular visitors but I’ve had a few in the past like that.
Of course. Not everyone realizes how unique I am.
Then again, I’ve become very sporadic at my writing.
I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the people who make the effort to stop by my blog.
Today I’m going to write about something.
Give me some suggestions because it doesn’t matter what the subject is… I AM THE EXPERT!! 🙂
You sound like my husband! Expert at everything!
Yes, since I don’t have a blog!
There are some blogs I go to almost every day, even though those people have no clue who I am. Either I’ve never left a comment, or I’ve only left one or two anonymous ones for support during difficult situations. Their stories somehow captivate me. Some of them have hundreds, thousands of followers, so even if I had a blog and they knew of it, I wouldn’t expect them to visit mine.
Yes I do. There are quite a few blogs I go to but usually don’t comment. There are so many great blogs out there!
I seem to have a very tight knit group of blog friends that I associate with. We are a give and take group for the most part. But, I have commented many times at places and that’s fine too. I only comment when I feel the need and I don’t mind if people comment or not at mine….
I am loyal to a few of my favorite blogs. Or at least I try, lately because of being busy and tired it is harder. And sometimes like lately with Mother in law in town and add stress I may read and not comment because I can hardly put my thoughts together to put together a sentence that makes sense. But people who comment and that I like their blogs get priority but there are a couple of blogs I visit that do not visit moi. Am I rambling? See what I’m talking about.
There are some that I visit whether they visit mine or not. They are usually very informative and I read them for the information I can get.
Lately I haven’t been to any but ours and sometimes that scarce. When I do have time for computer I am on FB or here. I am down to one family now with daycare so my time will be free’d up a bit. There a few I LOVE and will get back into.
I try to make my rounds daily of my friends blogs..sometimes it’s a couple of days…and not always do I comment. Not a big fan of blog browsing. All of the blogs that end up on my blogroll have been offshoots of the main bloggers..did that make any sense at all?
It made perfect sense. I love our group that we have right now. I’m not sure where I have more fun, here or on FB.
I hope I’m still part of this group? 🙂
Yes Gary, of course you are. You just need to get your butt home and chat with us. We miss you.
Who are you, I don’t remember you!? 😉
When I first started blogging I did go to many just to get traffic back to mine. I’ll be honest, I don’t go to many now that don’t come to mine. I just flat out don’t have the time. By the time I get through my blogroll, it’s right around two hours. If I added more to mine, I feel I wouldn’t be able to give fully to my own circle. If someone new comes here, I will check out theirs and see if it’s up my alley because they took the time to visit us.
Given that said, if someone posts once or twice a week and they come to mine, I go to theirs but if they are posting everyday and don’t come to mine, I don’t go to theirs either. I’m also finding that some blogs just don’t interest me and I’m finding that I don’t know what to say. I’m finding it harder and harder to find ways to say “LOL” or “that’s cute.” You know?
I’m sort of where you are with this. At the beginning I went to blogs who were blogfriends of the person who got me started then I went to those bloggers’ friends. Then some people came to my blog from comments I left on other people’s blogs. I think I’m losing track of what I’m getting at. 😉
Anyhow I let my blogroll get too big but I really try to visit everyone on it. Some more often than others. Nowadays, I stick to my original group and you, Joy, know who they are.
Thanks Joanie. I find though that if you try and spread yourself to thin and go to too many, you aren’t truly giving it your all because you just don’t have the time.
