I’m not sure what kind of spider this is. It was in a bee balm plant in my mom’s garden tonight. Kinda gross, huh?!

Eww.. I hate spiders… but its kinda pretty compared to the hairy, dark spiders that I hate most.
I think this is a Goldenrod Crab Spider, but I’m not positive.
That’s an awesome photo Sue.
that looks like a crab spider to me…nice pic
Took me a while to see it, I could see the bee but the spider took a bit of concentration to find.
***shudders*** lawdy, that gave me goosebumps!
My sister looked it up in her spider book (didn’t know she had one!) after I gave her a description, and she found something called a flower spider. After looking online here, I think Sean and her are both right. Looks like they are the same type of spiders with different names. Gross at any rate! I will look at the bookstore while in town today to see if I can find out for sure. I just love my camera!
Great pictures! Don’t get me started with spiders this week! I woke up Monday morning on the couch, which is a story all in its own, with a bite of some sort on my left hand. I am assuming it is a spider bite. It looks nasty but it doesn’t really hurt just burns every now and then. If it’s not better by next week I will probably break down and go to the doctor!
I took this pic…. naaaahhhh. I searched and I think I found your spider. “images of white spiders found in Minnisota”

thanks Mssc! That’s the spider alright, but I didn’t see a name with it! Oh well. A spider is a spider to me.
It’s a pretty spider! Looks kinda exotic and rare. But it still creeps me out.
