    I suppose it wood depend on the type of sport as to wether the trees could’ve won or not. Maybe a standing in the same place the longest time wood’ve given the trees a better chance at 1st place. Or a perhaps a leaf deciduizing (from Tony’s English Dictionary of Weird Words) contest
