  1. Vicki says:

99% of the time im early.

  2. Joy says:

I’m almost always early too. To me, 10 minutes early is right on time.

  3. Tony says:

I like to be a bit early, but not too much

  4. Lucy says:

It depends…. for an appoitments and meetings for work I’m always early or on time. If I’m meeting with friends I’m either on-time or late.

    • SKL says:

I think I’m the opposite: I’m more likely to be early for fun stuff than work! But in general, I tend to overestimate how long it takes to get ready and get through traffic – hence I am late (or barely on time) – unless it’s something super rigid like a flight time (in which case I give myself a lot of lead time).

I lioke to be early.I dont like being the last one to walk in 🙂

  6. Karen Joy says:

    Always early.

  7. LVISS says:

    WELL AHEAD OF TIME.

  8. Sue says:

I use to be early! With kids, that has gone downhill somewhat. Now if I’m on time I’m happy!

  9. Just a Mom says:

I am with you Joy, 10 minutes early is on time!
My husband is always running late and it drives me and the kids crazy! If we have to be somewhere important I have been known to change the clocks in the house so that we are at least on time!

  10. mssc54 says:

Better to be 5 minutes early than 2 minutes late.

  11. nikki says:

I like to be somewhat early, not to early. That doesn’t usually work but we’re almost always on time. I had a coach for my History class in school and he always said….early is on time, on time is late and late is unacceptable!

  12. SKL says:

Wow, it looks like I’m the odd one out on this one!

  13. birdpress says:

I’m late to this post, LOL, but your time is different than mine. It really bugs me when people are late! I am always on time or a little early.

    • mssc54 says:

birdpress; what bugs me the MOST is when they wait “just a few minutes for the stragglers.”

SO PUNISH ME FOR BEING ON TIME WHY DON’T YA!!!

Start the friggn meeting on time and teach the stragglers to be on time too!

      • SKL says:

When I used to be late for those kinds of meetings, it was because I “wanted” to miss the beginning! And the middle, and the end, and just get my dang name on the roll-call sheet!

Ahh, it’s nice to be out of the corporate world!

  14. javajunkee says:

depends. I am early to class, running just barely on time to take the kid to work, about right on time for doctors appointments…see no point getting there early.
