Oh there are so many different kinds of dream vacations… but I will limit myself.
Winter: Snowboarding in Switzerland or Whistler, BC
Summer: Lounging on the beaches of Hawaii or traveling around Australia.
somewhere quiet where there isnt alot of noise.. i’m not hard to please.. Im not a beach person though..
My dream vacation would be to travel to ALL of the islands of Hawaii and spend a week at each of them. There’s so much to see and do that it’s hard to cram it all into a 10 or 14 day trip.
ITALY!!!!! Someday…..
Nikki, when I was in the Navy (1972-1979) we pulled into several ports in Itally. It is a beautiful country and I remember the people being more friendly than the people in Spain. I got robbed in Barcelona by about 6 little girls. lol
Italy would be a wonderful place to vacation but try not to go when an Aircraft Carrier is in the area! lol
I would LOVE to tour the islands of the Carribean!
Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands and US Virgin Islands.
I would love to spend ample time on each of the islands soaking in the sun. 🙂
Since we live a short distance from the beach there’s not much of a vacation attraction there.
If I had my druthers I would be in the mountains – in a large cabin – on a lake – in the fall – with all the family – with paid help to do all the mundane things that need done when you have a large group of people.
The temperature would be in the upper 70s to lower 80s some days but then there would be a cold spell come through and there would be snow for a few days. We would have a huge fireplace in the cabin where we could all gather around and make smores and roast marshmallows. There would be a large game room in the cabin with billiards, air hockey, board games. There would be no TV and only a land line phone. No cell phone reception. There would also be a large deck overhanging the lake. On the deck there would be the largest hot tub you’ve ever seen. There would be an outdoor kitchen complete with a large grill, refrigerator, ice machine and large enough table to seat all of us comfortably. We would have a canoe and peddle boat too. Fishing gear too.
God had been so good to me.
I would have to find a tropical beach for my dream vacation! One of these days I will see true blue water and white sand. Until then I will enjoy the brown sand and brown water we have down in Galveston!
A private bungalow on a private beach where there’s…you know…privacy!
Ireland.
Scotland and England, too, but mostly Ireland. someday……
Oh, and Bora Bora. Just because the pictures look so incredible.
Round the world ticket (I think that’s a tangible things…I’ve heard of them)
