Yes but I only intend to do it once.

However, I would like to donate my body to science. Maybe they could use me at the Medical University of South Carolina!

Either way, I don’t care to be burried. Seems like such a waste of earth and money.

  2. SKL says:

Not yet! I intend to leave that up to my loved ones. Whatever they need to do to grieve me in a healthy way. They know that I like the idea of donating my organs, so if they are OK with it, then fine. But I wouldn’t want it to be out of their control if they were really against it.

I have heard some things about what is done with donated bodies . . . my family might not want to think of me ending up like that. I know my parents wouldn’t, if I preceded them in death. Now an organ here and there, that’s a different story.

  3. pammy wammy says:

    YES I AM.Any organ thats healthy 🙂

  4. Morocco says:

No, but my mother donated her body to science. In fact, I received her ashes a week ago.

  5. Joy says:

Yes I am a donor. I have been for years now. Once I can no longer use something I want someone else to be able to.

  6. Sue says:

Yes I am. I just hope when that time comes my family will agree to it 😦 That’s the only down side, the family has the final say and if they’re not ready to let go there’s not much I can do! I completely understand when someone says it’d be hard to think of your family member like that, but on the other hand, think of all the lives you could be helping/saving. Just make sure I’m dead dead b/4 taking anything 😉

  7. Just a Mom says:

I am an organ donor and I agree with Sue and hope that my family members will respect my wishes.

  8. nikki says:

Absolutely. When my dad died I remember the doctor talking to us girls about the importance of organ donation. The thought of it helped put me at peace.

  9. Tessa says:

Yes, and my family is too.
