Last winter I went to England in the UK to stay with Sean, He took me too many places such as Liverpool, Manchester, Wales, London etc.
On Sunday I went to a restaurant I’ve never been too. Had the most delicious brunch ever!! 🙂
Hmm… other than that…. It must have been Winter Park, CO, last April. I was in Denver for a Conference and went to visit some friends in WP. It was beautiful and I had a great day snowboarding. The drive back to Denver was a little scary…. (lots of snow and a crappy rental car!)
I also just went to a new restaurant! Nothing exciting, but my meal was pretty good.
This summer, my parents sent me to see my BF in Alaska. It was absolutely AMAZING… I got the “insider’s” tour of the area from the Kenai Peninsula north to Denali. What a great time, and how incredibly beautiful.
I also went to a new restaurant and I just loved it. We went for Trinity’s birthday to Mongo’s and it’s where you take all your food and put what you want in a bowl and they make it on a big grill thingy right in front of you. Since her b-day, we’ve been back once already and I could eat there a lot more often. It’s delish.
I love that place..yumm!
Where is this Mongos at?
It’s up in St. Cloud. In the mall by Pier 1 and Buffalo Wild Wings. Next time we go, do you guys want to come with? It’s really a fun place to go.
Last Saturday I went to the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. Though I’d been to Vegas before, I’d never been to the top of the Stratosphere.
Hmmm it’s been awhile since I have gone to a new place. We launched our boat at a new boat ramp a few weeks ago…does that count?
A new restaurant…it’s a chain of restaurants and my favorite but my husband took us to a new one..much nicer…elegant not so industrial like the other one. And next year for our birthdays we get to go for free…which is awesome b/c it s pretty darn expensive! Best food ever though!
How do you get to go there for free Nikki?!! Share your secrets!
When we were there last we had the head chef and he gave us these coupons…I shouldn’t say FREE….it’s $3O off each meal which is awesome…you know how much one can spend in that place. Go here…http://www.benihana.com/ and you’ll see the spot that says The Chefs Table…pretty sure anyone can do it.
Hmm, I guess it depends what you mean by new place. My memory isn’t so great right now, but how about Philadelphia? We went up there in January for my friend’s kid’s 2nd birthday party. I can’t say I got much of a taste of Philadelphia, since we didn’t do anything there outside of my friend’s house.
Earlier this year we went to Tasmania’s famous/infamous Port Arthur which was a convict settlement renown for it’s harsh cruelty to it’s inmates. 1st time I ever went there
