Is there an age? I always thought it was personal preference, but it seems like the middle age guys are the ones that look the worst with it. Like they’re trying to hang on to their teen years while waiting to look like old hippies!

  2. mssc54 says:

    1. When he wears long hair for a “comb over.”

    2. When he wears a pony tail and has a bald top.

  3. Joy says:

I guess if someone wants their hair long, it makes no difference to me unless it’s like mssc mentioned. Comb overs are awful.

  4. Gary says:

I would say until he had to do a comb over. Some guys don’t ever have to do comb over so they can get away with it their entire lives.

So my official answer is wear it long until you have to do a comb over or your wife tells you to cut it. LOL

I don’t think it should make a difference. It’s all about personal preference like Sue said. I personally don’t like long hair on men but that’s just me. I also think it changes with time…fads change. I think men with long hair are stereotyped by most people which I think is wrong. 🙂

  6. Mabs says:

It doesn’t make a bit of difference to me. My hubs has always worn it in a short tidy buzz cut- same with my boys. As long as it’s cleaned and groomed- I don’t think I care. I’m not a huge fan of the mullet though. I have to admit.

some guys really just shouldn’t have long hair. I find it more attractive when it’s tidy and clean and on a nicely built man…but that’s just me. LOL! ;0)
