99.9% of it. I buy anything and everything I can online. I hate shopping.

I’ve been doing more and more shopping online. It’s just too impractical to get it all done in the stores when you’re on a tight schedule. Plus it’s too frustrating when you go to several stores and nobody has what you’re looking for. It’s so much easier to find just about anything online. The only downside is that while you’re shopping for that 1 perfect item, the internet shows you 20 other perfect items that you now realize you must have.

I do have to go shopping in stores for some stuff. Sometimes I need to walk through the aisles to get inspiration. I also usually don’t buy clothes online, because you never know how they will fit. Shoes, yes, because I can’t find my size (7W) in stores.

    about 25% online…75% in stores.

I buy a lot of it online, I can’t stand christmas shopping!! Last year I went to sears on black friday because they had a great deal on a 84pc. socket set and a great deal on a drill. I saved about $100.00 on the 2 of them but I had to wait in line for about 45min. in the cold then push my way through a crowd of maniacs and then wait in-line for 15min. So was it worth it??? Online is the way to go!!

Oh man Shane, I’ll bet you hated that. I guess if you save that much money it’s good but I’d rather sit here in my pj’s sipping coffee while clicking a few tabs! LOL!

  6. Laura says:

I used to love going store-shopping, but that was back when I lived near a bunch of people who would go with me. We’d make a day of it, check out the sales, brave the crowds, get lunch, do the whole thing. It was a blast.

Now that I live where I do – almost an hour from the nearest mall, target, etc. (we only have a Walmart, and local knick-knack shops nearby), I do a lot online. I, too, have a limited schedule to work with, and wasting 1.5-2 hours just getting there and back is a big waste of time.

    • Joy says:

That’s kind of how I feel Laura. It’s such an “event” to venture out to go shopping and I don’t like it to begin with and I feel all that driving is a waste of time.

It is fun to go in a group! My mom and sisters and I used to make a day of it every year. We’d go to a mall that has every store and stay in a motel overnight. To be honest, the shopping part wasn’t that much fun, because we don’t all like the same kind of stores (and my mother somehow spends 90% of the time in the underwear sections), but it was still so nice to just all do something together. Since I became a mom of 2 babies, I opted out for a couple of years, and this year my sister’s about to have a baby just before Christmas, so this tradition may be on hold for a while.

I always say I am going to do more of my shopping online but I always end up putting it off to the last minute and I have to venture out into the real world to shop. But to my advantage I have 3 malls, 20 Walmarts and 12 Target stores all within driving distance of my house.

  8. Nikki says:

Like 2%…my mom and BF I buy online and they ship it to them. Other than that I buy in store. I’m always too worried it won’t be the way it looked online or something. I guess once you buy from an online store enough you just know the quality and you know what you’re getting. Still I’d rather shop in the store. Actually…Jason does 90% of our Christmas shopping…he’s very good at it!

  9. javajunkee says:

I will be doing 99.9% of it online.
