Aside from indoor plumbing? Hmm. I think it has to be the fridge/freezer. Not very exciting, but how much could we really do in the kitch without it? Well, unless you live on a farm . . . .
I was going to say the microwave until I saw that SKL said a fridge. I hadn’t thought of that. You’d HAVE to have one of those before a microwave.
yeah wow a lot of things went through my head until SKL answered. Guess I am going to go with that too…I have seen pictures of that old “ice box” and hhmm not sure I could deal with that.
