Joy and Paul’s tree

I guess it’s my turn to show our tree. This is our tree this year. It really doesn’t change much over the years. I don’t “match” anything nor do I just have certain colors. I like all my old ornaments and enjoy the “sameness” of it over the years. There’s enough change, I leave my tree alone. Notice anything missing?? Yes, I have nothing on the top. Paul and I are so fussy about it that we never like one enough to buy it. We haven’t had a topper in years.

I’ve had the Joy mouse since Jason was in first grade. His teacher gave it to me for helping out in the classroom. I have a LOT of Joy stuff.

Jason made the cross and Toby made the icicle. They both made them in Sunday School when they were 4. They are the most treasured things on my tree.

I have no idea why I like this dumb pink fish. I just do and it makes me smile.

I got the red one new this year and I’ve had the striped one for years. I love these long ones.

I’ve had these two “candies” for a few years now and I really think they’re cute.

I collect lighthouses and Sue got me this ornament this year. It’s really pretty cool. The light in the little tower lights up. I love it. Merry Christmas everyone.
