Here’s a good question for you. It was on the news last night. What do you plan to call 2010? Two thousand ten or twenty ten? I think twenty ten sounds funny so I’ll call it two thousand ten but there were a lot of different opinions so what’s yours?

Either one. Whatever happens to pop out of my mouth at the time!
Probably two thousand ten (it’s not harder to say than two thousand nine, and I wouldn’t have gone around saying twenty nine . . . .) Eventually, if everyone is going around saying twenty ten all the time, I might pick it up like a bad habit.
What Sue said..
Happy New Year!!
Erm… Twenty-ten probably, even though it sounds pretty silly – it’s just shorter!
Happy New Year, Joy!
I’ve already caught myself saying twenty-ten, although I did say twenty-oh-nine, as well. And I’ll be the first to admit that twenty-oh-nine was weird. I also caught myself calling it two-oh-nine, which is just plain wrong.
I’m likely to catch myself, though, when I’m talking with Josh, because he needs to understand that it’s NOT twenty-ten, it’s two-thousand-ten.
I haven’t figured it out…I am more worried about writing it wrong on my check like I always do.
It’ll depend on the moment for me. Right now I’m thinking two thousand ten, but it’s entirely possible I’ll lapse into twenty-ten at some point.
Happy New Year to you and all the ladies, Joy :^)
I think I will use two thousand ten.
I think I’ll use 2010
Paul, lol
I am with you Joy, twenty 10 sounds funny! But I am sure that is what people will use, I was thinking about it and think about how we said 1996 and so on…once the two thousands get higher it’ll be so long to say two thousand ninety eight and such.
It’s funny… Just above this post in my reader thingy was David Levine’s post insisting we call it twenty ten. 🙂 I do prefer that one, just because it’s shorter.
Paul made a funny!!! LOL
I like Two thousand ten…I think twenty-ten sounds too futuristic for me!
Two thousand and ten… but as SKL said, I might pick up twenty-ten if thats what everyone around me says.
Happy New Year!!
Two thousand and ten :0
Happy New year all 🙂
