Hmmm, I like Rachael Ray. She’s just funny!

  2. SKL says:

I can’t think of one that I like or ever have liked.

  3. Nikki says:

Wow that is a bad shot! You all see that picture?!
Anyways..I love Chelsey Lately (Chelsey Handler)and try to watch her every night. I don’t watch any day time TV but I used to watch The View and loved it. It became more of The Democratic View than anything. I haven’t watched it in a long time…I don’t know if it’s still like that.

  4. Vicki says:

The only one I watch is The View.

  5. mssc54 says:

Can’t say that I have a favorite right now.

However, I was on the Radio Factor with Bill O’Riley in 2007 and he used my call in to his radio program as a fetured segment on The Factor that same night.

  6. Lucy says:

I dont watch any talk shows…

  7. Laura (LS) says:

I was into Oprah for a while, after she got away from the “Jerry Springer style” crap, but before she got all condescending. I particularly loved her “favorite things” show in November, but even that got ridiculous when she was telling everyone that they just HAD to have a $300 sweater!

Then I liked Dr. Phil for a season or two… but got tired of it, too.

Now, I’ve pretty much given up on TV, and it’s just talk shows on the radio – Glenn Beck, sometimes Rush. Most of the time, it’s just chatter in the background, though.

Oh, yeah…. I try to catch Craig Ferguson at night, sometimes. Does that count as a “talk” show? Usually I can only stay awake long enough for his monologue, though…

  8. Joy says:

I guess my first love of this type of show was Phil Donahue. I just loved that show. Like Laura, I used to love Opera between the years she’s talking about also. I don’t like comedians or shows like Leno or Letterman. I guess I don’t like talk shows at night.

I do like Regis and Kelly. I never liked Kathy Lee so never watched it until years after she left. I do love The View. There are times though that they get to arguing to much. That is awful. I also only like talk shows in the morning. I don’t really watch anything in the afternoons and my TV is usually just off. I’d like to like Ellen but she’s to hyper in the morning for me to watch. I just like a nice calm talk show that dishes all the dirt. I do turn on Dr. Phil just to see the subject. He does have good subjects sometimes and I do use a lot of his ideas for the blog but sometimes it just doesn’t interest me. If my kids were still young…maybe….but some of his topics are for younger people. His show has gotten a lot better this year than the last few. He’s gone back to the way it was when it was a good helpful show.

    • Nikki says:

Oh I LOVE Regis and Kelly and miss them! That is Andrews “tartoon” time though…. 😦

    • Tessa says:

Joy, it is good to hear he’s gone back to being a better show! I do love Dr. Phil as a person, I love his books, they are helpful and well written. I think his heart is in the right place, but some of his shows are just too much about drama, I love some of them though.

  9. Gary says:

I can’t say that I have ever really had a favorite. There is one that I would watch with my wife from time to time because it was soooo funny. JERRY SPRINGER!

I wanted to hear all about crack whore’s that beat their husbands and momma’s. I liked to tune in once in a blue moon to see if (fill in the blank) really is her baby daddy!

  10. Vicki says:

Remember Sally Jesse Raphael?? I used to watch her back in the days..I was just floored when i was in the UK last winter to see her talk show was on local tv..i thought u gotta be kidding me..lol

  11. Tessa says:

Regis and Kelly I watch occasionally-they’re cute

I love, love Ellen-she is a sweetheart and we like to dance w/her, watch her and Dr. Oz almost everyday, only daytime things I watch.

Sometimes Oprah and Dr. Phil, but don’t really care for his show too much.

I agree with Sue Rachel Ray is great!! I love her cookbooks I have.

    • Joy says:

I really like Ellen too Tessa but that early in the morning, I don’t like all the dancing and craziness. I just want talking and slow subjects. I’d love it if Ellen was on like at 1 or something cause I do like her. I’m just way more quiet when I wake up.

  12. Tessa says:

I use to love Jay Leno, haven’t watched his new one really.

  13. Just a Mom says:

I used to watch Phil Donohue, Geraldo, Oprah, Dinah Shore.
I don’t watch tv during the day much but I do like The View and Rachel Ray.

  14. Sue says:

Since we’re talking about oldies, I use to watch Montel Williams all the time!!!!! He had good subjects and then started in with the baby daddy stuff so that’s when he lost me!

  15. I remember being sad when Donahue went off the air. Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin had good shows, but Donahue was the best.
