    7/10… I dispute the cheesecake pan one… our family mostly uses pie plates.

    Otherwise… Arrowroot? cool.

      That was my thought on the cheesecake pan too Laura. I have always used pie plates.

      I also didn’t know that about arrowroot. Something about arrowroot reminds me of making play dough. Would that be right? Or is that cream of tartar? I’m having a mental block.

      I also agree about the cheesecake one. It’s always made in a pie plate!

        Do you all make the un-baked kind if your using pie plates?I wouldn’t think of using anything but a springform pan for the baked ones.It all tastes good whatever their made in anyhow..mmm..now Im hungry for cheesecake!

      If you are using the boxed cheesecake then a pie pan is fine.

      However, I don’t see how in the world you could bake a”real” cheascake in a pie pan. It usually takes about 6-8 hours to mix all the ingrediants, put the crust and filling in the pan, bake it, let it sit in the oven with the door cracked open for two hours and then take out and let it cool completely before refrigeration.

      My Mrs. abnd twi of my daughters make an awesome NY style cheescake! One of my briother-in-laws makes cheesecakes for local eateries in MS. I think he even ships!

    wow I stunk also 6/11 and I thought I was an ok cook, Not so much anymore LOL. I have always used pie plates for cheesecake. I love the last question.

    6 out of 11. It was a educating quiz. Was fun to do! I could not come up with the name for the cheese cake pan. We have the same word in dutch: spring vorm.

    Hm, I expected to bomb this one pretty bad. Hesitated even clicking on the link. But I got 7/11 which apparently doesn’t earn me the dunce cap after all.
