I like comedy/romance movies the most now. When I was younger I liked a few scary ones here and there but scary movies were so different when I was younger. Now they just cut people up and are so grizzly. Yes, I’d rather laugh or cry than be grossed out.

  2. Sue says:

I like comedies and action films. Horror films have never been my thing!

  3. Nikki says:

Comedies, my new favorite is Step brothers. We have it down loaded in our PS3 and watch it once a month probably at least! I do like a good action film though, Transformers was great! Really I like most anything except for old westerns. Comedies are my favorite though.

Well, I’m kinda hard to please. I want a movie that’s deep enough to move me, yet well-made enough to keep my interest. I haven’t seen to many of these. I have never gone to movies much, but in the past 10 years or so, the majority I’ve seen have been romantic comedies, mainly because those are most enjoyable to the friends I’d see movies with. I have to force myself to leave my critical mind at the door and “enjoy” the stupidity.

  5. Tessa says:

I’ll have to try the Step Brothers, Nikki. I am looking for good comedies if anyone can recommend some!! I hear laughter is the best medicine 🙂 I want to laugh more! But I love drama, romance, animations. We just watched the new Ice Age-cute movie.

  6. Ellen says:

Action and drama! A good humor movie like “Love Actually” makes me watch once a year when I decorate the Christmas tree, it is my favorite.

  7. Laura says:

Depending upon my mood, either action/adventure or romantic comedy.

Indiana Jones is my all-time favorite hero, although I was very disappointed in “Crystal Skull”. And I’m always up for a romantic comedy – it’s 2 hours that I can just sit and enjoy, and not think about anything going on, sort of a mini-vacation.

And Joy, you’re absolutely right about the “horror” films of today. I remember when I was a kid, I saw “Nightmare on Elm Street” and it freaked me out. looking back, it wasn’t that good a movie, but at least it had some sort of a plot. I haven’t seen any of the slasher/horror movies of today, but stuff like the “Saw” series just turns me off from the start, because they seem to just glorify the spilling of blood

  8. Vicki says:

Although i dont watch a lot of movies I pretty much like it all apart from the horror movies. I start feeling anxious when im watching them.We just recent bought “Hangover” I thought that was really funny.

  9. Just a Mom says:

I tend to favor comedies and suspense.

  10. Gary says:

I like a good comedy or action movie the best. Something that will make me laugh or sit on the edge of my seat wonderin what will happen next. Nothing better when it comes to movies. 😀

  11. Lucy says:

I like all kind of movies, but I refuse to watch Horror/scary movies.
