Team Jay or Team Conan? Or are you on the team with both of them, and think the network is being a big sleaze? OR… scrap both of them, and go for Letterman?

I think the network made a huge mistake and even me, someone who knows nothing, knew this wouldn’t work. It’s to early for people to watch this kind of show. Plus the fact that a lot of what I watch was moved or taken off. What a blunder.
I don’t care for these kinds of shows nor am I big on comedians. I don’t watch any of these shows. If I had to watch one, I’d watch Letterman.
I have never watched any of them. Nor do I desire to.
I dont really watch either of these on a regular basis ..but am totally team COCO!!! 🙂 I dont think Leno is funny at all.
For someone, who still needs to get used to American humor, I prefer Leno, I think Conan O’Brien laughs too loud and too long about it’s own jokes, and his “buddy” in the show is the same. They ruin the humor out of it.
I’m more team Leno than the other two, but never had to see the show every night. I’m confused by what NBC did to begin with, but I guess they felt like paying out millions of dollars up front instead of over time. Wish I had that much money to throw around!
If we are speaking strictly about comic humor I go with Leno.
However, I hate how the network screwed Conan over.
I’ve always been on Team Leno, even way back when the whole Tonight Show/Leno/Letterman happened, when Carson retired. And I’ve never been a fan of Conan’s. I agree with Ellen that he just tries too hard, and laughs too hard over his own jokes.
That said, I think the network has done a lot of screwing and blaming on this one. I’m not sure how they should have handled it, but this way, obviously, was way wrong. Leno and the Tonight Show was firmly in first place, why would you mess with that? I’m not privy to the inside dealings, but I think both guys got royally screwed over, on one hand. On the other, they’re laughing all the way to the bank, aren’t they?
As for which late-night guy I like best? That would be Craig Ferguson… but I’m rarely up late enough to see him, and when I am, I only watch the monologue.
I don’t care one way or another, I’ve never watched either of them. I LOVE Craig Ferguson though, he cracks me up!
I can never stay awakw late enough to watch these shows! I kinda liked having Leno on at the earlier time!
I like Jay WAY better than Conan but I really think it’s the networks that dropped the ball on this one and created all these problems.
If i am well informed, Conan O’Brien will leave with 45 million Dollars.. Not sure if that is a bad thing….. Network are always so powerful, it is scary. The control the news how we will see it. And sometimes that makes me think: it this the real thing I am watching now?
