Question of the day

I caught an old episode of Mr Ed a few weeks ago that I couldn’t resist watching. Before that it was around Christmas time and Just A Mom had a clip from Giant on her blog and it made me want to see that again. There’s something I love about black and white movies.
Heh! I saw Mr. Ed, too! Just the other day, I got up early (5:30) to check the school status, and on our “retro channel”, they were playing Mr. Ed. I love that show, so I had to watch.
I really miss that good stuff.
I just love all those old shows too. If I happen to stumble upon them, I can’t make myself change the channel. Can you imagine though, a talking horse???
I can. It’s called a Smart Ass.
BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Damn, I crack myself up!!!!
I bought my kids a Shirley Temple dvd for Christmas. I thought my wee dancer would like it. It came with an extra DVD of “shorts” with S.T. in them. About a week ago, I wanted to let my daughters watch about 15 minutes of videos before bed, so I thought we’d watch one of the “shorts.” Turns out they were not at all what I had imagined. But anyhoo, that was the last B&W thing I watched.
I too love B&W movies. If I ever get a stretch of free time, that’s probably how I’ll spend it. If they aren’t all locked in a museum archive by then.
I used to just love those Shirley Temple movies. They used to be on Saturday afternoons when I was a kid.
The Twilight Zone…Jason and I stayed up on New Years Eve and watched the marathon. 🙂
A wonderful Life. I saw it the first time with Christmas, last year. I heard it is an American classic one! I liked it.
I don’t remember… it s been a very long time since I watched anything in black and white.
LOL Joy ~ I watched Giant last weekend! I hate to tell you but it’s in color, or “Fake” color as my kids call it!
The last thing I watched in black & white was the Three Stooges marathon on New Years!
It that color?? It’s awful then cause mine sure looked bland. I thought it was black and white.
Just this morning… it was our dog chasing a squirl in the back yard.
A Wonderful Life, but it has been a few years! I remember as a kid we watched it all the time. Leave it to Beaver comes to mind. I loved Shirley Temple growing up!! I had like every video and watched so many times!
I have no idea!
